PLACMAKING & NEIGHBORHOODS

Increasingly, our story has grown to encompass helping communities connect through creative design and placemaking efforts; working with community associations to beef up membership and social capital.

IT’S ABOUT TAKING OWNERSHIP

Rollin’ Bloom’s community work is ultimately in pursuit of reinvigorating community networks, increasing civic participation, and allowing neighbors to take ownership of their communities and inspire collaboration.

A VISION OF COMMUNITY

We’re working with communities, pro-bono, to create one-of-a-kind websites dedicated to archiving their neighborhood’s story and making organizing simple and accessible. We believe engagement is critical to our city’s success.

A Midtown Project

Project Spring + Five Points + Tobin Hill

Project SPRING is an ambitious initiative to reignite lower San Pedro and transform it into the gateway to San Antonio, something we have been involved with from its beginning. Part of this initiative includes an effort to increase civic participation in adjacent communities, including Five Points.

Currently, we are working with the Five Points Neighborhood Association to create a website to document the Five Points story and to assist the community’s fundraising and advocacy efforts.

This project is being with and by the neighbors.
